The AdheScan system from Schäfter+Kirchhoff is a complete system for the quantifiable and reproducible fracture pattern assessment of common adhesive fracture types. The system achieves an optical resolution of 11µm, 3D height information with 20µm resolution and 3D representation of each fracture pair. It scans up to eight fracture pairs in one scan. Both fracture partners are aligned with the alignment tool and evaluated together. Users can annotate the sample in all six views at the same time, i.e. exactly at the point where a fracture surface is easiest to identify.
