AU-Zone and Toradex have partnered with Vision Components to develop the modular Maivin i.MX 8M Plus AI Vision Kit. The developer kit is based on a Toradex Verdin i.MX 8M Plus SoM and a carrier board designed by AU-Zone specifically for vision applications to accommodate up to two VC-MIPI camera modules. Also part of the kit is AU-Zone’s DeepView machine learning toolkit. For individual applications, the connector boards can also be customized with freely definable interfaces and functionalities. The kit is scheduled to be available from Q3 2021.
