By optimizing the components and the software, Werth increases the range of application of the TomoScope S series. Transmission tubes with 80W tube power allow measurements up to five times faster than conventional reflection tubes at the same structural resolution. The new measuring systems have more than twice the measuring volume of their predecessor with almost the same size.
With the specifications for the length measurement deviation MPE for E of (4+L/75)µm and the distance deviation MPE for SD of (2.5+L/100)µm, the series offers a high accuracy in its machine class. The modular equipment system has been expanded. X-ray tubes from 130 to 240kV tube voltage, with transmission or reflection target as well as with and without focusing can be integrated. The detectors feature 2 to 28MP with pixel sizes from 50 to 200µm.
