By using the Nikon L100 CMM laser scanner on a coordinate measuring machine made by Wenzel Group, the company is expanding its portfolio of optical sensors. The laser scanner offers a combination of speed, precision and ease of use and is suitable for both surface and feature measurements. It quickly delivers accurate data and insightful part-versus-CAD inspection reports, even for surfaces that mirror or are made of different materials. The 100mm wide field of view combined with a measurement speed of 200,000 points/sec also achieves high measurement productivity.
