With the EyeSens 3D Weld Seam Tracker, Eye Vision Technology introduces a smart sensor for weld seam inspection. The compact sensor head (8.5x5x14cm) contains the complete electronics including the evaluation electronics. The sensor (700g) can be attached directly to the robot arm. The integrated software then detects the weld seam to realize robot guidance. The system can communicate directly with the robot via various bus protocols or via a PLC such as Profinet. The system can detect up to 2000 position values per second.
