AT – Automation Technology has equipped the 3D sensors of the C6 series with the MultiPart feature. This allows up to ten different features to be output simultaneously, regardless of the pixel format or algorithm. In addition to the information about different peaks (MultiPeak), which is often for the suppression of secondary reflections of the laser line, the customer now also receives additional data such as Reflectance, Scatter or Confidence. Thus, instead of a simple point cloud, a photorealistic representation of the inspection object can be generated, and 2D inspection tasks such as character recognition or inspection of QR codes can be implemented.
