The CoatPro by AIM Systems is for automatic non-contact thermo-optical coating thickness measurement in industrial coating lines. The measurement on substrates, such as metal, plastic, rubber, glass, ceramic, fiber composite… is easily possible. The precision is less than ±0.5m (at 0.5s), the working range is 100mm ±80mm. The great advantage of the system is the angular independence of the measurement (±70°) and is independent of curvature or roughness of the product to be inspected. The ATEX-compliant device is designed for inline and robotic applications.
