The industry association AIM-D surveys its members on business development every six months. The survey took place before the Corona crisis and covers the second half of 2019, with over 85% of the companies reporting improved or at least unchanged business development in the AutoID markets. An increased demand for RFID is expected with more than 60%, especially in the area of electronic identification. The positive expectations at the interfaces to complementary technologies such as sensor technology (almost 40%) and machine vision (almost 30%) are striking.
