The DB850 Dual Bandpass filter by Midwest Optical allows for full color imaging by day and excellent monochrome contrast at night. Precision ground and polished filters pass visible and 850nm LED or laser diode illumination. 850nm LEDs are perhaps the brightest of all infrared LEDs. “M25.4” or custom cut 1.0 or 0.5mm thick DB850 filters with standard 10-5 or better surface quality are most typically mounted between the camera lens and the sensor.
