Edmund Optics is expanding its product portfolio to include optical coherence tomography (OCT) test phantoms and diffuse reflecting test phantoms. The test phantoms are precisely controlled samples for testing and calibrating OCT systems with well-characterized optical properties such as refractive index, scattering coefficient and absorption coefficient. The phantoms, which are available in various variants (e.g. multi-layer, point spread function, pyramid, multi-purpose versions), ensure precise testing of the system parameters depth resolution, image contrast and sensitivity.
