With the TO42 series, Vision & Control presents a new series of telecentric objectives with 42mm object field diameter. Thanks to special color correction, they can be used optimally from the NIR to deep blue. Thanks to the parallel beam path on the object side, they image without perspective distortion. With appropriate object illumination with blue LEDs, this allows practically twice the resolution of conventional imaging. The vicotar TO42 series consists of three object-side telecentric objectives with field diagonals of 16, 21.4 and 23.3mm. The working distance is 120mm for the smaller diameters and 100mm for the larger.
