Building on the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoCs and Artix UltraScale+ FPGAs, AMD Xilinx adds two new devices to the UltraScale+ family. The AU7P and ZU3T are based on the 16nm FinFET process for low power, high performance per watt and small form factor applications. The AU7P is suitable for applications that require high processing power in a small package size (InFO package of 8.5×10.5mm). The ZU3T MPSoC is the smallest device in the Zynq UltraScale+ family of 12.5Gbps GTH transceivers for low-cost applications. As part of the Zynq MPSoC family, it includes a 64bit processor that combines real-time control with soft and hard engines for graphics processing. It also integrates an arm-based CPU subsystem for sophisticated analysis and on-chip programmable logic for task acceleration. Pre-series and volume production shipments of the AU7P device are expected to begin in the second half of 2023, with pre-series shipments of the ZU3T device to early access customers in the first half of 2023 and volume production shipments in the second half of 2023.
