AMD Xilinx’s Kria ODM Ecosystem program enables fully functional Kria SOM-based solutions by AMD partners without the need for dedicated chip design resources. Users get a turnkey solution with complete software stack and application support. Currently available ODM partner products based on the K26 SOM include both the LOM FPGA-based triangulation sensors with inspection rates up to 10kHz and Optomotive’s Smilodon intelligent camera series. Furthermore, an Edge AI appliance by VVDN is available. The implementation of an eight-channel AI edge appliance (Kria K26 SOM + Kinara Ara-1 processors) supports high-performance vision AI applications at a fraction of the cost of competing GPU solutions.
