EVK presents the EVK Alpha G100 edge computing platform in combination with the EVK Helios EC32 hyperspectral camera. The platform and the hyperspectral camera enable real-time material recognition in monitoring and sorting applications. A functionality extension allows classification in up to 100 material classes. Tasks such as the classification of individual polymers in complex plastic streams, the evaluation of substitute fuels, as well as the removal of impurities and the analysis of quality defects in the food industry are further areas of application.
