The Teledyne Flir TG54-2 and TG56-2 IR pyrometers feature a larger measurement temperature range and memory compared to their predecessors. They also have a lock mode, the option of tripod mounting, an improved protection class and a class 2 laser pointer. The Teledyne Flir TG54-2 is a 20:1 IR spot thermometer that measures temperatures up to 850°C. The TG56-2 measures temperatures up to 1,300°C and includes a type K thermocouple for contact temperature measurements. The device has a distance to point (spot) ratio of 30:1.
