With the 3D camera Mech-Eye Deep, Mech-Mind has expanded its product portfolio for measuring larger volumes in logistics with high accuracy. The camera enables the capture of a field of view of up to 2,800×3,500mm for palletizing and depalletizing tasks with a 3MP depth image or 3MP RGB image. It is 30% faster, 65% smaller (366x77x92mm) and 45% lighter (2.4kg) than the previous models and, thanks to a red laser, much more independent of ambient light. The point repeatability Z is 1mm at 3m. Typical recording times are 0.5 to 0.9s.
