Basler adds an industrial-grade stereo camera series to its product portfolio. The five models are available in base distances of 65 and 160mm, as well as in monochrome and color versions respectively. All cameras come with a pre-installed onboard software package suitable for robotics applications. Thanks to the onboard processing, the cameras can be integrated directly – i.e. without an external computer. The software package, which is already installed on the camera, contains six modules that are adapted to different robotics applications and can be individually selected. Basler is collaborating with the company Roboception on the new series.
