Vision Components’ EvoCam is a tiny 65x40mm intelligent board-level camera that integrates a MediaTek Genio 510 Edge AI processor along with all components for image acquisition and image processing. It can be configured with an onboard image sensor or with one or two cable-connected remote-head image sensors from the VC MIPI portfolio, and individually adapted to the respective application via interface boards. The NPU of the MediaTek processor delivers a performance of 3.2 TOPS; the camera ships with a customized Debian Linux operating system that natively supports common image processing functions.
