Welding Inspection with AI Audio Tool

Xiris Automation has released an AI tool for processing audio signals during welding. The audio AI tool allows fabricators to learn an acceptable range of audio signals for a welding process, which then alerts in real time to anomalies such as burn-through and wire feed jumps that could indicate welding defects. The tool is included in Xiris’ WeldStudio 3 Pro software, which provides camera control, graphical overlays, video recording and playback, and image and audio editing through a user-friendly interface.
