The new cylinder coordinate measuring machines of the Mar4D PLQ line by Mahr are designed for various application areas due to multi-sensor technology and workpiece flexibility. Depending on the requirements, the new machines are equipped with up to four CNC axes and optical as well as optional tactile sensors. Monitoring systems, for example for ambient conditions or machine safety, ensure process stability when recording the 3D measured values. With its ergonomic design and active vibration compensation, the Mar4D PLQ is designed for use directly in production. Depending on the variant and equipment, the machines can inspect rotationally symmetrical workpieces up to a diameter of 200mm, a length of 1.000mm and a weight of 50kg.
