LOM is a customizable and user-programmable FPGA-based high-speed laser triangulation sensor based on Optomotives T-Rex camera. It includes ARM SoC technology combined with an AMS imaging sensor and laser line projector. In camera Peak detection IP core process images to produce profiles in 8-Bit subpixel resolution. The camera software can also convert 3D points into mm in real time. The sensor is factory calibrated and supports two simultaneous streams: images and 3D profiles.
