Optometron has expanded its filter product range and now offers polarizing filters for all ring illuminators. Where previously only a bright reflection could be seen, the surface of the specimen with possible scratches and defects is now visible. The tedious, reflection-reducing alignment of the specimen is also eliminated. Optometron’s illumination program includes ring illuminators of all light colors from UV to IR. In addition, transmitted light, coaxial, dark field and telecentric illuminators are available for continuous light and flash applications. Lenses that concentrate the light at the desired working distance can also be used to optimize light output and save energy.
