With a measuring force of just 0.01N, the Litematic VL-50-B (or 50S-B) probe is ideal for measuring the thickness or height of workpieces that are easily affected by measuring force. The spindle is motor-driven and stops as soon as the contact point touches the workpiece. From that point on, maximum, minimum, or differential values can be measured using a constant measuring force. This enables a resolution of 0.01m and a measuring range of 50mm. The VL-50S-B model (pictured) features a separate display unit, meaning the measuring unit and display unit are detached from one another.
