The new model in Mitutoyo’s Formtracer Avant series, the FTA-H3000, seamlessly combines roughness and contour measurement in a single detector. The measuring range (Z1=16mm) represents a 3.2-fold increase compared to the previous model. This allows for the measurement of workpieces with large height differences. Thanks to the Z1 axis precision of (0.5 + 0.02H) m and a low background noise, users can rely on their measurement data. The system complies with DIN EN ISO 21920 and other industry standards.
