The Advanced Robotics Startup Sewts was able to prevail among 85 competitors in the program ‘Start?Zuschuss!'(engl. ‘Start?Grant!’) of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. The price was up to 36,000€ in funding. The young team uses machine learning and computer vision technologies to develop highly intelligent control software. Sewts thus transforms standard industrial robots or cameras into adaptive systems that can react to short-term changes in their environment. The vision of the founders is the market-oriented, sustainable and fully automated production of clothing.
In the combination of resolution and speed, the 3D sensors of the C6-3070 series by AT Automation Technology impress with the new WARP technology (Widely Advanced Rapid Profiling).
