Der smart WLI Firebolt 2 von GBS ist ein Messsystem auf Basis der Weißlicht‑ bzw. Coherent Scanning Interferometrie und erreicht dank erstmals direkter PCIe‑Kameraanbindung 2,57 kfps bei 2048 × 1260 Pixeln. Trotz etwa fünffach höherer Datenrate werden komplette 3D-Datensätze weiterhin in Echtzeit berechnet – ohne Rohbilddaten zwischenspeichern zu müssen. Bildkorrekturen (ICC), Kontrastverbesserung sowie eine FFT-basierte AQC-Qualitätskontrolle für jeden Messpunkt bleiben dabei vollständig erhalten. The SmartWLI Firebolt2 from GBS is based on white-light interferometry – or coherence scanning interferometry – and achieves a frame rate of 2.57kfps at a resolution of 2,048×1,216px, thanks to the first-time use of a direct PCIe camera connection. Despite the roughly fivefold increase in data rate, complete 3D datasets are still calculated in real time without the need to buffer raw image data. Furthermore, ICCE image correction and contrast enhancement, as well as FFT-based AQC quality control for every single measurement point, remain fully intact.
