The distance sensors of Wenglor’s PNBC series measure contactlessly and independently of the surface condition, shape and color of the objects, therefore the measured values are not influenced. In addition to the proven TCP/IP interface, the Ethercat industrial Ethernet interface is now also available for recording and processing the measurement data in real time. The laser sensors of the PNBC series work with a high-resolution CMOS line. The distance to the measurement object is calculated with micrometer precision using the angle measurement analysis method. Laser distance sensors are based on the triangulation principle and are suitable for measurements with high accuracy of distances up to 1,000mm.
