The ChemWiz(-ADK), StellarRAD and ColorWiz handheld spectrometers by SI Scientific Instruments are rugged and easy to use. They feature a high-resolution NIR or UV-VIS spectrometer and accessories for field and laboratory studies of solids, liquids or powders. Handheld Raman spectrometers are also available (785 or 1064nm). The instruments determine in real time material compositions with regard to moisture, protein and fat content or color, ingredients or hazardous substances and much more. The partially integrated Analyzer Development Kit (ADK) allows spectral fitting as well as individually configurable PLS (Partial Least Squares) modeling and prediction functions.
