Designed for use with the Cognex DataMan 470 barcode reader, a patented highspeed mirror optimizes scanning and reading barcodes across large fields of view with a single system. The steerable mirror attachment expands the device’s FoV both vertically and horizontally, giving the 3MP and 5MP readers effective resolution greater than a 50MP sensor. The mirror comes pre-assembled on the front of the reader and is compatible with existing mounts and cables. The device is configured with an integrated web-based setup wizard. After entering application specifications, the wizard automatically calculates the optimal scan pattern.
