The heart of Polytec’s VibroScan QTec optical vibration measurement system is QTec technology, which achieves greater accuracy and efficiency in measurements. QTec is based on a multi-channel interferometer with reception diversity that bundles measurement data from multiple perspectives and improves the signal-to-noise ratio. This enables precise results to be achieved even on rough surfaces. The new device is around 50% smaller than previous models and measurements are up to 10x faster. There is also now a version with a visible HeNe laser, which, thanks to a µm-sized measurement spot and high resolution, also enables measurements on very small objects and in media such as water.
