With the new uEye XC Starter Set, customers get a comprehensive package that allows to evaluate and use the full range of functions of the 13MP autofocus camera. Unlike products from the consumer sector, it has been specially developed for use in industrial applications and delivers sharp images and videos even under changing light conditions – benefiting, for example, kiosk systems, applications in industrial production or in diagnostics.
The set includes not only the camera, tripod and cable, but also a macro lens. Thanks to this lens, the camera with the AR1335 rolling shutter colour sensor from onsemi is also suitable for demanding applications at close range, because it easily shortens the minimum possible object distance and thus opens up additional application possibilities.
With dimensions of only 32x61x19mm (WxHxD) and screwable USB Micro B connection, the camera can be easily integrated into image processing systems. Its 13MP onsemi sensor delivers 20fps at full resolution and ensures high image quality even in changing light conditions thanks to BSI (“Back Side Illumination”) pixel technology. Useful functions such as 24x digital zoom, auto white balance and colour correction ensure that all details can be captured perfectly.
From process and quality assurance to kiosk systems, logistics automation and medical technology: the autofocus camera can be used in a variety of ways in both industrial and non-industrial areas.
